Privacy Policy

Last updated September 4, 2026.

GeneOS uses identity, commerce, kit, laboratory, and results data to fulfill tests and provide secure account access. Results are not made public and remain locked until the verified kit-to-result workflow completes.

Information we process

We process information you provide, including name, email, phone, shipping address, account credentials, order and payment status, support communications, and booking details. To operate a test, we also process kit serials, opaque claim identifiers, carrier tracking, laboratory accession identifiers, assay files, derived results, and account-to-kit relationships.

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, issue payment instructions, fulfill and track kits, reconcile laboratory files, process results, send transactional messages, provide support, prevent fraud or duplication, and meet legal or operational requirements.

Service providers and payments

GeneOS may use contracted providers for email, hosting, carrier fulfillment, laboratory processing, scheduling, and other necessary operations. Zelle payments are completed through the applicable financial institutions; GeneOS records the order reference and payment status needed for fulfillment.

Genetic and health data

Genetic and health-related data receives restricted access. Printed kit QR codes use opaque claim identifiers and do not independently grant access to genomic results. Unknown or conflicting laboratory accessions are held for review rather than matched by name or email.

Retention, security, and choices

We retain records as needed to deliver the service, maintain auditability, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. No internet service can promise absolute security. Contact [email protected] for access, correction, or deletion questions; some records may need to be retained where required.

Transactional messages

Order, payment, shipment, laboratory, security, and results-ready messages are operational communications. They are separate from optional marketing preferences.
